I have been experimenting with photography since 2004, in both analogue and digital photography. My main love is portraits & creating artistic scenes involving people, but I also love landscapes, still life, architecture, street photography, and more. I have always had good eye for composition and framing, and appreciate both the vividness of colour photography, and the reflective beauty of black and white.
Most of my photographs so far have been artistic, but I am also interested in commercial and event photography.
These are the specifications of my equipment:
Analogue Photography (aka, non-digital)
My analogue photography is almost always taken with my Minolta X-700 using ISO 400 film. Many of my black and white prints I have also hand-developed.
Digital Photography
Photos I have taken using a digital camera are sometimes my Canon PowerShot A400, which is 3.2 megapixels. I’ll readily admit it’s not a fantastic camera, but the challenges presented by working with less-than-ideal equipment can sometimes produce some startling results.
When I have a particular shoot planned, I use a high quality digital SLR which is available to me through a friend.
Editing
After taking my digital photos I use Photoshop CS to restore the quality of the photo if it needs it, to get the best and most real-to-life image possible. I can also add borders, watermarks, and I even have a small amount of experience in photomanipulation – editing out unwanted parts of photos, or more artistic photomanipulation.
I also have a tripod, and a few different lenses for my SLR.
I am keen for experience not only in artistic and creative photography, but also event photography. If you would like my photography services, please feel free to contact me. The images on the above site are a little lower quality than I’d like them to be, and of smaller resolution, and some of my older work. This is as I do not have internet access at home and thus uploaded them by first saving them from another site, editing, and re-uploading. But it is a start.
